It’s 2019. Stupid Millennial jargon runs rampant on most professional Twitter accounts. Some of it’s funny, most of it is not. When the accounts of professional sports teams get in arguments over wins and losses, the stupidity hits its peak. This happened last week when the accounts of the Miami Marlins and Tampa Bay Rays got in a Twitter argument that mimicked recess time in elementary school. This is the joke that made headlines:

While the joke is pretty funny, you can see that it may have stepped over the line (even if that line is huge nowadays). Since then, an apology has been posted and the kid more than likely got fired.
